BFIT Group, Dehradun, was founded in 2002 by the Kartar Educational & Cultural Society and is affiliated with and linked to a number of prestigious organisations. It is associated with the NAAC- and UGC-approved H.N.B. Garhwal Central University. The Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education and the State Government Technical Board are both affiliated with the BFIT Group TECHNICAL CAMPUS, which is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is also accredited by the Ministry of Education and associated with Uttarakhand Technical University. These connections and affiliations guarantee that BFIT provides technical education of the highest calibre while upholding national standards and giving students access to a wide range of possibilities and resources.
UTTARAKHAND TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY
Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun was established on 27th January 2005 by Govt. of Uttarakhand through the Uttarakhand Technical University Act 2005.
ALL INDIA COUNCIL FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) was set up in November 1945 as a national-level Apex Advisory Body to conduct a survey on the facilities available for technical education and to promote development in the country in a coordinated and integrated manner.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) came into existence on 28th December, 1953 and became a statutory Organization of the Government of India
UTTARAKHAND BOARD OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION
Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education has been setup by an act no – 27 of 2003 as passed by Uttarakhand legislative assembly and assented by governor on 13-January 2004 and notified on 15 – January 2004.
